I was clearing snow for my
clients on a very cold afternoon and forgot to shut off the headlights
on my truck. The battery was dead by the time I returned to the truck
and I was unable to start it. I had left my cell phone in the glove box
and the battery was also dead from the cold so I could not call anyone
to help me.
I used one of the Emerald Sun hand warmers to heat up the battery for my cell phone. The heat from the pack was enough to restore the charge on my cell phone battery and I was able to call someone to boost my truck. My Emerald Sun heat pack saved me. I always keep a few of them with me and in the truck to keep warm while working but never thought they would save me from this. I use Emerald Sun heat packs on my daily aches and pains in my neck,
shoulders, back and joints.
Because they are ready to use at any time, I can take them with me when I visit friends and family, on shopping trips and when I walk the dog during the cold winter months. I also use them to warm me up in bed. I do not feel safe using an electric heat pack or blanket when I sleep due to the fire hazard that they pose.
